HOUZZ KITCHEN OF THE WEEK: Ready for Cooking, Music & Game Nights

KITCHEN PROBLEMS: The 80 sf kitchen, wedged in between the dining area and family room, was cramped and poorly laid out. The space was too crowded for 2 people to work at the same time and there was not enough counter space or storage.
KITCHEN SOLUTIONS: The entire back of the house was opened up into one continuous space for cooking, entertaining and hanging out. Also on the wish list: a large sink, an island with seating for 4, double wall ovens, and better organized storage for food and cooking supplies.
