KITCHEN PROBLEMS: The placement and condition of the appliances was inconvenient to say the least — the dishwasher was draining into the laundry sink one floor below and the range was wedged into a corner. Countertop space and storage were lacking.
KITCHEN SOLUTIONS: The wall between kitchen and dining area was replaced with a peninsula for storage, prep and serving. Appliances were reconfigured and storage was maximized. Modern style includes: cherry slab front cabinets, handmade mosaic glass tile backsplash, mid-century modern aluminum dining chandelier, 12x12 porcelain floor tile, quartz countertop, and sleek stainless steel outlet cover plates.
