HOUZZ BEFORE & AFTER: 4 Kitchens With Two-Tone Cabinet Schemes
KITCHEN PROBLEMS: Awkward placement of the peninsula created a bottleneck and trapped the cook when at the range. Cold, drafty and freezing pipes. The cook was isolated from the rest of the house. Hated that pink floor tile!
KITCHEN SOLUTIONS: The seating was relocated to the opposite wall, out of the work zone. Doorway to dining room was widened to improve flow. New insulation and radiant floor heat addressed the cold. Storage was maximized with multiple cabinet accessories. The two tone cabinet color scheme was inspired by the navy and aqua floor tile.
