KITCHEN SOLUTION: Although the clients had the typical kitchen renovation wish, the critical priority was to design a space for clients who are chemically sensitive. The sustainability focus in this project was turbo charged. The designer was deeply involved in vetting every material (especially the cabinetry), many sample-tested for client approval. As requested, the designer delivered a standing workstation at an island, improved storage, a calm neutral color palette all in a healthy, non-toxic space.

GUEST BATH SOLUTION: The claw foot tub was removed and the shower and vanity were configured around the sloping eaves. The fresh style is grounded in the home’s classic architectural details. The penny round tile draws the eye to the floor, helping to draw attention from the awkward angles. Clean white elements play a supporting role and bold black elements add modern energy.
